1) Install aplikasi gammu dan gammu-smsd
sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install gammu gammu-smsd

2) Untuk melihat konfigurasi port device (modem)
dmesg | grep tty

3) Konfigurasi Gammu terlebih dahulu
sudo gammu-config

port = /dev/ttyUSB0 # disesuaikan
connection = at115200 # disesuaikan
synchronizetime = yes
logfile = /var/log/gammulog
logformat = textall
use_locking = # isi yes jika ingin resource modem di kunci

4) Konfigurasi berkas /etc/gammu-smsdrc
port = /dev/ttyUSB0 //disesuaikan
connection = at115200 //disesuaikan
logformat = textall

service = sql
driver = native_pgsql
DeliveryReport = sms
logfile = var/log/smsdlog
debuglevel = 1

User = postgres
password = postgres
pc = 192.168.1.8
database = aplikasianda
phoneid = phone1 //dapat di ubah atau disesuaikan

- WARNING!! untuk menggunakan perintah gammu, matikan dulu service gammu-smsd. Pastikan dengan cara ketik perintah:
sudo /etc/init.d/gammu-smsd stop

5) Cek identify modem dengan perintah
sudo gammu --identify

6) Aktifkan kembali service
sudo /etc/init.d/gammu-smsd start

7) Tabel yang harus di buat pada database
